ON HOLD (4) improved last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5½f at Doomben after being in contention on the corner. Perfectly placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. VANCOUVER QUEEN (7) was prominent at the turn but failed to live up to expectations over 5½f at Gatton last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run prior. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SPIRIT OF BRODIE (5) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.3 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Nicely placed to score once again. OUR ROCKETMAN (1) was a winner over 5f at Sunshine Coast last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by a head. Solid top-three prospects.
