RANGER REX (6) finished 5 lengths behind the winner in second over 4½f at this track (Dirt) last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Terrific chance to return to the winners' list. I'M A COOL CAT (2) held on well to finish third last start over 5½f at Sunland Park (Dirt), beaten 1.5 lengths when resuming. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough. OTTOMAN EMPIRE (9) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by half a length at this track and trip last start in a far better run. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to figure in the finish. TATAS JOE MARK (4) ran below expectations last start, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths at Sunland Park (Dirt) over 6½f. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
