BURNZ DA BOSS (1) resumed last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish second, beaten 1.75 lengths. Should run on into the finish again. MT TAYLOR (6) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. DISCREET TIGER (2) is back after a break of eight months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 4½f at Sunray Park. Makes plenty of appeal. AWESOME BID (4) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 5f at Zia Park (Dirt). Well placed and will be thereabouts again.
