THE ICE CUTTER (5) knuckled down strongly to get within 0.6 lengths of the winner in third last start over 1m1/2f at Gawler. Winning rider Caitlin Tootell sticks. Expecting a bold showing. WARRANDYTE ROAD (6) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish fifth over 1m2 1/2f at Gawler in a disappointing performance. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. PULAMBI (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Balaklava, finishing fourth and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m when she made late ground. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SIRMAZE (12) has not won for a long while. Last raced on February 17 when beaten 9 lengths into 12th at Morphettville Parks over 7f after he got a long way back in the run. Best figures measure up nicely. One of the chances.
