HRUNGNIR (1) went to the lead from the low draw last time out and was still there on straightening, eventually finishing third over 6½f at Ararat. Well-placed and will take catching. MARBASTION (13) improved last time out, finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 7f124yards at Yarra Valley after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. TURNED LOOSE (8) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 7f32yards at Naracoorte when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 0.7 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but she is up to the task. PIGLET (6) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at her latest appearance over 7¾f at St Arnaud. Finds a suitable assignment this time and can improve.
