BELNERA (9) is back after a break of nine months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at Werribee. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. JAKIVY (4) finished third last time over 6f at Ballarat to make it five minor placings from 13 career runs. Has a good record at this distance with five top-three results from eight starts. Among the main chances. JAMMIN JIMMY (5) wasn't far away in two runs during his maiden prep, the latest a third over 7f at Sandown-Hillside eight months ago. Has had the benefit of two trials and is expected to measure up. GRACEFUL MIST (11) was in the money at Mornington when resuming two runs back then could only manage fifth at Cranbourne over 5f three-and-a-half weeks ago. The blinkers go on. Can feature with the right run.
