That followed a win at Tamworth at the previous outing. Beautifully placed and is sure to make amends. RUSSLEY CROWN (7) turned in a modest performance when 15th last start over 7f at Randwick, beaten 14 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Tamworth. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. SMOOTH ESPRIT (8) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 7f at Tamworth. Ashley Morgan, who has a strong record aboard including two wins, regains the mount. Profiles to run well. STING JET (18) finished 3.9 lengths away from the winner last time at Muswellbrook on heavy going and drops in the weights. Rates highly on best figures and has the blinkers removed. Should be in the finish.
