RIDER'S SPECIAL (4) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when sixth and beaten 8 lengths over 7f at this track (Dirt). Can atone for that last run. BEACH BOY AL (6) is having his first run since May 4. Has a very good fresh record, scoring two times including one over 5½f at Finger Lakes at the start of last prep. Sure to make his presence felt. NOTTOWAY (3) got the prize two runs ago at Finger Lakes. Less impressive last time out when second over 5½f at Finger Lakes, beaten 3 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough. MISTER J T (7) disappointed last start when out of the placings over 6f at Monmouth Park (Dirt), beaten 6 lengths. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them.
