Was a determined winner two runs back. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. Belmont Derby Invitational winner TRIKARI (8) finished third two runs back in the G3 Penn Mile Stakes at Penn National (Turf) then improved last time out to score by a nose over 1m1 1/2f in the G1 Belmont Derby Invitational at Aqueduct (Turf). John R Velazquez scored on him last time and retains the ride. Has the class to make it two on the bounce. Group 2 placegetter FULMINEO (5) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by half a length over 1m at Listed level at Colonial Downs (Turf) as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and three minor placings from six runs. Solid top-three chance. DETERMINISTIC (6) grade 3 winner. Missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at Aqueduct, beaten just 0.8 lengths. Worth noting Joel Rosario goes aboard. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
