ON THE WHIM (1) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when eighth and beaten 4 lengths over 1m at Del Mar (Turf). Last run worth forgiving. Can atone. FAST BUCK (6) is a talented gelding who was well held last time out in the tougher Seabiscuit Handicap won by Mi Hermano Ramon over 1m1/2f at Del Mar, beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Winning claims on best figures. TAKES THREE (9) is lining up for a winning hat-trick after scoring on turf over 1m at Del Mar in a then following up with a win on dirt over 1m at Los Alamitos more recently. Sure to make his presence felt again.
