Expected to be in the finish. GEEZER (2) was in the firing line on the bend and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in third last start at Los Alamitos (Dirt) over this distance. Has a very good record over this journey with three wins from six starts. Among the leading chances. CLOVISCONNECTION (1) is a strong when resuming performer who resumes after a break of ten weeks. Was in top form before a lay-off with two straight wins, the latest over 6f at Pleasanton. Yet to taste defeat in eight starts at this journey and is one of the contenders. SMILING BEAST (3) is an exciting galloper unbeaten after two starts. Last raced when successful by a nose over 6f at Del Mar nine weeks ago. Expected to measure up yet again.
