Has a sound record here with four wins and a placing from eight starts. Ticks all the right boxes. ON THE WHIM (6) saluted at Del Mar two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when in the firing line on the turn before finishing third over 1m at Del Mar, beaten 2.75 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to bounce back. BARELY FUNTIONAL (2) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Del Mar, beaten 4 lengths into fifth.
