BARTHOLDY (1) finished second last time out over 6f at Del Mar (Dirt), making it five career minor placings. Has been in the frame at all two runs over this trip. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best figures should see him run well. JUST BEFORE DAWN (3) is a well-related three-year-old colt on debut. By Justify from Unenchantedevening who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at the elite level. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Promising type who can make a positive start to his career. SEMPER INVICTUS (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1m at Del Mar, beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. SULLY (2) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of four-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
