Expecting a bold showing. COALINGA ROAD (2) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten 3 lengths over 1m in stakes class at this track (Turf). Yet to break through at this journey but has placed at all four tries and is expected to feature. DUAL THREAT (3) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track (Dirt) with success over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) four weeks ago, getting home by 0.3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CLOONEY (5) turned in a fine effort to score by 3.5 lengths at this track and distance when resuming from a lay-off last time out. Finds another suitable race and can do it again.
