KERRY GOLD (1) missed the frame last time when fourth at this track (Dirt). That followed a run of two wins on end. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best form puts him right in this. SPEED GRAZY (7) progressed nicely last time out when he worked home well to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CALIFORNIA BAY (5) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on November 4 and finished 13th behind Seal Team over 1m1f in the G2 Twilight Derby at this track (Turf). Nicely placed and can feature on his best form. SHIP AND SCAM (2) accounted for a maiden field over 7f at this track (Dirt) last start when fresh from a break. Mario Gutierrez was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
