MEGA MOON (4) was sent out favourite but could only finish sixth over 1m at this track last time. Prior to that had been racing well, collecting three minor placings on end. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Among the leading chances. NUMERO DIX (5) showed little early dash last start but found the line strongly to get up for second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over this course and distance. Well placed to feature again. LAHAINA FLAVOR (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 5.5 lengths when tenth in a 1m1f contest at this track five weeks ago. Has the class to figure prominently. REMOTE (8) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 1m at this track (Turf), finishing second and beaten 0.1 lengths at 20/1.
