Group 3 winner MAVEN (5) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 5f at Del Mar (Turf). Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DISKO TRIBUTE (3) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5½f at Los Alamitos, an improvement on his sixth at Del Mar the run before. Has the ability to take this out. HOT BOX (2) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 5f at Del Mar (Turf) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.75 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.
