SOMEBODYTOLOVE (9) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SUBRISING (2) continues to race well with a win in a at Ballarat before finishing 0.8 lengths away in third last time over 1m at Caulfield. Leading contender. PACIFIC CROSS (7) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m at Sandown-Lakeside. Should be near her peak for this. Nicely placed to play a major role. HEART OF VENICE (6) got off the mark over 7f at Bendigo last start, scoring by 2.2.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
