ENSIGNIA (4) finished third two runs back at Louisiana Downs (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by half a length as public elect over 1f180yards at this track (Dirt). Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. B CN YOU (9) did a great job to score by 0.3 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a layoff last start. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. Group 3 placegetter VODKA FROM TEXAS (1) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1f180yards at this track (Dirt), finishing second and beaten 0.3 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. LEFTY (3) finished sixth over 1f180yards at this track when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can play a big role.
