STRONG TOGETHER (3) turned in a nice run when resuming at Louisiana Downs then wasn't too far away last time over 1f180yards at this track (Dirt), finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to take this out. CUZ (6) returns from a layoff of six-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1f180yards at Retama Park. Expect him to play a major role. SAN FRANCISCO (4) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 1f180yards at this track (Dirt). Should be peaking now and is a key runner. JUSTIFYE (2) is fresh from a lay-off of six months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Retama Park (Dirt) over 1f130yards. In a different yard now.
