FLIP THE COIN JAN (1) returns from a lay-off. Finished ninth at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep ten weeks ago. One of the genuine hopes in the race. WEIRD YEAR (5) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by half a length over 6½f here last time. In fine form and worth following up. MISTER K (2) drifted back over 6f here last time before winding up late to finish fourth, beaten 7 lengths. Solid top-three hope. GENTLEMAN'S SECRET (7) finished 13 lengths adrift in sixth last time over 5½f at this track (Dirt) in a disappointing performance. Well placed and should be thereabouts.
