OXFORD BLUE (5) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.9 lengths adrift in third over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside when fresh from a lay-off. Will be tough to stop again. SLANE (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.7 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Cranbourne after being in contention on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. CHA CHA CHANGES (7) broke through for a deserved win last time at Geelong after filling a minor placing at the first two starts this campaign. Has found winning form. One of the main contenders. ITSUKUSHIMA (2) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 1m at Pakenham. Likely to be about the money again.
