Group 3 placegetter PALMETTO (7) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over 7f at this track. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running a bold race. Group 3 placegetter GLORY DAZE (11) has returned in good shape this campaign. Opened with a second at Randwick two starts back then landed the prize by 2.25 lengths as public elect last time out over 1m at Randwick. Taking on a better line-up this time but he can win again. Group 3 placegetter ROBUSTO (12) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a head, over 7f at this track. Tackles a much tougher assignment but looks up to the task. AMOR VICTORIOUS (13) strode forward early last start from his wide draw and was never headed, scoring by 3 lengths at Randwick over 1m. Stiffer assignment here but cannot be underestimated.
