SUPER BRIGHT (8) produced a reasonable effort when eighth last start over 5½f at Randwick, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at Warwick Farm the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. CRUEL SUMMER (7) is a distance specialist who finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when sixth over 6¼f at Canterbury four weeks ago. Taking on a better field but he is worth another chance. FLYING SULTAN (5) went fast early over 6f at Kembla Grange last time and defied all challengers to score by 5.5 lengths. Likely to push forward from the wide draw. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. HUON (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.1 lengths from the winner in second over 6¼f at Canterbury. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
