MERCURIUS (5) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m at Port Hedland last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Marble Bar the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MULTINOVA MAN (1) finished 6 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m at Carnarvon three weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Blinkers come off now. Sure to go well. REGINALD (2) started favourite last time but found a couple better over 1m at Port Hedland. Looks well placed stepping out in trip. Can figure in the finish. AL MAGICO (3) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m at Port Hedland. Deserves serious consideration.
