WELL HELD (4) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 3 lengths over 1m at Townsville as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with three wins and two minor placings from five outings. Can measure up again. POET'S DAY (1) carried on the great form last start when he lifted to score over 7¾f at Mackay, making it back-to-back wins in the process. Among the leading chances again. NOBLE HEART (2) broke through for a deserved win last time at this track after filling a minor placing at the first two starts this campaign. Form this track is hard to knock with two wins from six starts. Expected to run well. GENERAL WOLFFE (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 7f at this track. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
