FICTIVE (2) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a nose away in second over 7½f at this track after being prominent from the outset. Wide draw and will need a good steer from Justin P Stanley. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FINE AND RARE (3) remains a maiden after 18 runs. Was well in commission last time but after being in the firing line on the corner could only manage to finish fifth over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. AIN'T NOBODY (1) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 6f. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. FIGHTING EDGE (4) was in the placings when 2.7 lengths away from the winner last time at Townsville on soft going and drops in the weights. Rates well so don't underestimate.
