BROWN RESERVE (3) won his maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at his last two runs, most recently when third over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Should park just off the speed. Among the leading chances. WAR HAWK (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5½f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. MR PELOTON (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. R D C POSSE (5) settled well back and failed to come on last start when seventh over 6f at this track (Dirt) at his first run back from a break. Expected to do far better this time.
