Could only manage to finish fifth last time out over 7½f at this track (Turf) following a minor placing at Lone Star Park (Turf) when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Big chance to break through. FEEL IT (5) finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at this track when fresh from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Among the chances. BRONTE DIEM (6) is a three-year-old colt who is having his first run for the H Ray Ashford Jr barn. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Louisiana Downs (Turf) nine weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Expected to be in the finish. GWYNETH'S MALIBU (3) was beaten 2.25 lengths into fourth in a 7½f contest at Lone Star Park at his latest appearance. No surprise to see him in contention.
