BUNDEENA (3) was far from disgraced when third last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. That followed a win at Randwick Kensington the start prior. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. WELL TIMED (5) is back from a four-and-a-half months lay-off and he does run well when resuming, including a win over 5½f at Nowra at the start of last prep. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. Likely to take beating. DETENDU (7) made late ground and finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5½f at this track, an improvement on his sixth at this track the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. ORYX (9) turned in another moderate effort last start when 9 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6¼f at Canterbury. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
