CHEF DE MISSION (1) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being prominent at the bend over 6f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. EFFORTKAT (5) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at her last couple of runs including a second most recently over 6f at this track when beaten a neck. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will prove tough to beat. OPAL BEACH (10) was in the placings when a length away from the winner last time at this track and gets some weight relief here. Winning rider Kayla Crowther sticks. Expected to measure up. NASDANA (9) did a great job to score by a neck over this course and distance last start in a far better effort. No reason she cannot salute again.
