ISUSPECTJEU (8) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 6¾f at this track. Likely to feature. MIDNIGHT RULER (2) is back from a 40 day freshen-up following a fourth at this track last time. Readied for this with a recent trial placing. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. INTO THE WOOD (6) resumes from a lay-off of eight months. Could only manage to finish eighth at the latest run over 1m3/4f at this track. Tuned up with a sixth in a recent trial at Strathalbyn. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
