OPAL BEACH (8) gets out over more ground. On the back of some solid form of late, the most recent effort a third over 5f at this track. Can break through this time. RIVERSIDE ROCK (11) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 5 lengths, at Balaklava over 6f. Finds a nice race and can make amends. CHEF DE MISSION (3) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Brenton Jones barn. Finished off last campaign with a 12th at Darwin six-and-a-half months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Leading prospect. PRESCIENT (2) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest sixth at this track over 6¾f. Top-three prospects.
