SLIM JIM (8) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 6f213yards at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the bend. That followed a win at Hawker at the previous outing. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. FAMOUS KNIGHT (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Balaklava, finishing fourth and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 5¼f. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. EXCELMAN (1) filled yet another minor placing last time when 2.75 lengths adrift in third over 1m3/4f at Hawker. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. TINY REBEL (5) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten a long neck, over 7½f at this track. Sure to run boldly again.
