SUPER VALENTINE (2) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m3/4f at Port Lincoln after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. SHALAGA (1) has put together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on May 5 over 7½f when he got home by 6 lengths. Winning rider Caitlin Tootell retains the mount. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. IMPORTANT PRODUCT (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when sixth over 6f at Gawler three weeks ago. Faces an easier assignment so he will be hard to beat. MY BOY JETT (6) accounted for a maiden field over 6f213yards at this track last start, finishing 6 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
