AL RANCHERO (1) drifted back from the inside draw last time then attacked the line strongly to get up for third at this track over 6f. Will be tough to hold out. TUNDRA (4) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 5½f at this track. Likely to feature. CLUB PUNTER (3) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 12th over 6¾f at Strathalbyn after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable assignment and can make amends. SASSY ANGEL (8) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Balaklava over 7f after racing in the leading division. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
