GOIN' SOUTH (1) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 6f at this track (Dirt) when he was in the firing line all the way. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. GOT SOUL (3) stepped out for his debut over 5f at Del Mar (Turf) back on August 9 and finished sixth, beaten 6 lengths. Expected to be very competitive. SOUTHERN TORNADO (2) could only manage fourth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. MAGILLIGAN (4) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the bend. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well.
