SILVER BACK JACK (1) continues to race well with a win in a at Ascot before finishing a long neck away in second last time over 1m1/2f at Bunbury. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be in the finish. FAT ROY SLIM (3) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing eighth over 1m1f at Ascot most recently. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. DUCHEES DEMERIT (2) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at this track over 1m3f, beaten a neck. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is capable of going well. MELWOOD COAST (7) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1m3f at this track, finishing third and beaten 2.5 lengths. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
