STARRING KNIGHT (2) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.3 lengths of the winner in second last start over 7f at this track. Sure to go well again. Group 2 placegetter PENNY ON THE QUEEN (13) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4.5 lengths back in fifth over 1m in the LR Starstruck Classic at Ascot. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. LAQUETTA'S GIFT (11) ran well below her best last time over 7f at Ascot, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth at 3/1. Better than the last run suggests. Can feature. COUNT THE SESSIONS (4) finished third two runs back at Ascot then improved last time out to score by 0.9 lengths as public elect over 7f at Ascot. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
