PITTSBURGH PIRATE (3) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2.25 lengths over 1m3f at Ararat. Will take advantage of the good draw. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. MI ROCK ALY (6) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by a nose over 1m2f at Mortlake. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PICAROON (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at Caulfield, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GOLIOTUS (5) finished tenth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m2f at Mortlake, beaten only a nose. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
