BACK ME UP BENNY (1) has been about the money with three minor placings from five starts this campaign, the latest a solid third over 1m2f at Mildura. Expected to go well again. EIGHT ON THE DOT (2) was below his best last time, finishing ninth and beaten 7 lengths over 1m1 3/4f at Morphettville Parks after being in the firing line on the corner. This doesn't look as hard so he is set to turn things around. LUCANIA (7) is backing up quickly after finishing in the money at Mt Gambier over 1m1f just nine days ago. Nice run last time and should be in the finish. BENZ BARON (14) made progress last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m3f at Balaklava. Finds a nice race and can secure another top-three finish.
