ELSIE GIRL (8) finished second, beaten a nose, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Mt Gambier. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is all set to open the account. SEE DE NIGHT (6) went to the lead from the low draw last time out and was still there on straightening, eventually finishing third over 6f at Mt Gambier. Will take catching. MY CRACKLING (3) was in the money two starts back at Halidon but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 3 lengths, at Gawler over 7f126yards. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. DAD'S DREAM (2) returns after four months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 7f126yards at Gawler. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
