PERILOUS LASS (10) closed last prep with a disappointing seventh over 6f at Gawler. Back for a new campaign with a change of rider. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Sure to go well. LOVE YOU BELLE (6) failed to figure again last time over 7f at Mildura, beaten 5 lengths into eighth. Looks well placed here and can finally break through. WILD RALPH (5) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished 11th over 6½f at Bordertown. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Mt Gambier. Strong winning chance on best figures. CHEF MILITAIRE (1) was beaten 4.5 lengths into ninth in a 7f126yards contest at Gawler a week-and-a-half ago. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
