VIVACISSIMO (5) wound up strongly in the run home last start to register an impressive win over 7f at this track. The winkers come off now. Rates strongly and expected to go close. BAREFOOT TORA (9) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 14 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1m at Stony Creek, beaten 3.5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. CINQUE PONTE (6) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 2 lengths, over 7f at this track. First try at the trip but she strips fitter and looks a clear threat. ZAAFFAIR STEAL (7) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m4f at Moe, beaten just a head. Suitably placed so she can figure again.
