EL TERCERO (1) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at Sandown-Hillside over 6½f. Going well and is one of the major players. TREBILCO (6) settled back on debut last time out and battled on evenly to finish fifth over 5½f at Ballarat. Big chance based on that effort. OUTVIE (4) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 6f at Colac. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. SHE'S BRUTAL (8) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 6f at Moe, beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves another chance.
