ARIZONA ACTIVIST (9) got the job done when resuming last start at Wangaratta over 5f185yards. Form over this journey is strong, boasting three wins from five starts. Will find this assignment a little tougher but he is a leading contender. DUEL VENTURE (7) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a nose over 5½f at Sale. Open to plenty of improvement and is expected to run well again. HEURISTIC (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Cranbourne, beaten 2.25 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
