OUTBACK ANGEL (8) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished seventh when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Albury then improved and scored over 4½f at Albury five-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 3.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. VAINSTREAM (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fourth over 5f at Sapphire Coast two weeks ago. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. POWER BANK (11) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing eighth at Dubbo over 5f. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. BRIEF STATEMENT (3) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when second, beaten a head, at Dubbo over 5½f. Looks a definite top-three candidate.
