ELKO COUNTY (1) wasn't far off maiden success before a nine weeks break, finishing the prep with a minor placing at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Jockey J R Leparoux back aboard. Well placed to make a bright return. DARROW (7) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found a couple better over 6f at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Big chance based on that effort. CALDERA (9) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in contention on the corner, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1m1/2f at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. BROTHER TONY (3) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing third over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt). Finds a suitable race and can fill another top-three spot.
