Group 1 placegetter KING RUSSELL (5) wasn't far away when resuming last start, finishing second over 1m at this track (Dirt) when he was up on the pace all the way. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Ideally placed to take this out. SOUTHERN SUNSET (7) recorded a strong maiden win over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) last time, getting there by 6 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he cannot be discounted. LORD VICENTE (6) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. HARLOCAP (3) has been freshened up since he finished sixth over 1m at this track (Dirt) six weeks ago. Should camp just off the leaders. Not to be discounted.
