BYZANTINE (12) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 2.25 lengths. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. PAT'S GAL (6) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 9 lengths away in seventh over 6f at this track (Dirt). Fitter and worth another chance.
